Sanjay Leela Bhansali brought over traditional Garba dancers from Gujarat to teach the Garba in the traditional way to Padukone. The shooting of the song took ten days at an expensive set put up at Film City.
It was reported that the actress stuck to the routine and shot for the song on the allotted schedule sporting medical braces to relax her movements. The duo complimented Deepika Padukone for her efforts though she sustained major bruises and swellings on her feet while performing some heavy-duty dance steps.
